About Me

I am an eclectic specialist! Throughout my career I have always worked in the areas of creativity and change. Originally trained in design and education, I spent my early working life in teaching, youth work and outdoor pursuits.

The mid eighties saw me running my first business, designing and making furniture, essentially  bespoke items to order. From here I went to WH Smith to organise and facilitate leadership and management development and through this became increasingly involved in organisational change. Specifically working with teams and individuals to raise performance and capability.

Since launching my own organisation development business in the nineties, I have continued to specialise in helping individuals and organisations to handle change positively and  develop innovative approaches to leadership.

Having been in my own business for 25 plus years, I now find myself drawn, along with my regular work, to writing. I use this to help myself and others see into situations and reflect on experiences in different ways

Outside work, our three children have almost flown the nest. My wife Sue pursues her own business in sports injury massage, reflexology and baby massage. I still enjoy the outdoors, head off to the hills when ever possible and at other times, enjoy playing tennis (reasonably) and playing the saxophone (poorly).
